Seeing the year out with sunshine and savasana on the stunning tropical island, Sri Lanka.
Full of colour, warmth, beaches, palm trees, coconuts, fresh food, friendly people, surfing, history, culture, wildlife, shopping… one of my favourite countries in the world that keeps drawing me back time and time again. I am now excited and so ready to take you with me :)
Please note; This will be a small intimate retreat with a max 12 people.
We will staying and practicing yoga on the peaceful, idyllic beach Talalla down South of the Island in a modern and immaculate family run guest house with just 10 steps from your bedroom to the beach.
Its this place that has continued to draw me back - have never stayed anywhere like it. Nisansala and her gorgeous family are the most wonderful hosts. The rooms are spacious and comfortable with huge beds with balconies to ponder on, her home cooking is authentic and the location… paradise!
Yoga for you, twice a day for 6 days tailored to all levels.

Followed by creative morning flow building strength and feeling fire - with a softer sunset practice restoring.
Nisansala is an Ayurvedic cook. All food is freshly prepared, locally sourced and incredibly good for the mind and body. Think tropical fruits from the garden, nourishing curries cooked with coconuts and Sri Lankan spices. Probably one of the many highlights of this magical place.
Breakfast and dinner feasts is included in price.

THE BORING BITS
TRAVEL - non of the below is included in price.
The airport to fly to is Columbo. There are direct and indirect flights with many airlines ( Sri Lankan Airlines, BA, Jet Airways and more.)
It is a 2.30hr drive from Columbo airport in a private taxi. I can organise this for you. Cost is approx £70.
For 6 nights of yoga, accommodation and Nisansala’s memorable breakfast and dinners:
Earlybird £620 (£680 after 1st May) for shared occupancy (rooms are laid as double rooms with large beds. Please let me know if you would need 2 beds separate and will see what we can do)
Earlybird £820 (£880 after 1st May) for single occupancy.
A £150 deposit will be required to secure your space.

As the end of summer starts approaching, this workshop will invite us a to slow down, and check in with how and where we are.
We will travel through very gentle mindful movement, on a nourishing journey towards stillness.
Through this stillness, we can become aware of the various sensations within the body and the fluctuations of mind, emotions and breath. This brings a sense of harmony and peace: so there is a greater ease, a deeper sense of balance, feelings of calmness and acceptance. The Yin practice invites us to explore our inner landscape with qualities of self-reflection, acceptance and equanimity. We learn to pay attention to what is, as it is with an attitude of kindness.
